While we, at all times play our strategic role in shaping the future of our organization, .we need to embrace the upcoming trends in HR Tech. Technology is not now only limited to payroll, reimbursements, or recruitment and on-boarding.
With an increasingly younger workforce, it is imperative to adopt new technologies to meet the emerging needs of workplace flexibility and mobility, impacting productivity and organizational alignment. How can we effectively use enterprise communication and collaboration applications, to improve organisational interactions? How can we use the new capabilities in technology to have positive repercussions on culture building and talent retention?
While many of us thrive on historical descriptive analytics, there is a need to start moving towards predictive analytics. Measuring employee feedback and interaction data in a set framework will help us in getting intelligent insights to help in managing overall attrition rate and improve employee engagement.
Today, technology provides us ways and means to track and learn from instant feedback from current employees and alumni, enabling constructive change. As HR, we have to think about various ways to encourage people to connect, collaborate, ideate, debate and learn from each other’s experiences. We should capitalize on e-learning modules with social features, as it encourages cross functional learning and collaboration.
Let’s debate and explore these and related topics, in this year’s Manning Modern Retail Conference and learn new ways of managing ourselves and our organisations better!
